Family Time Unit 2 Here, There, Everywhere

Plan this fall to explore five new musical learning themes in Unit 2: A visit with a friend, an outing at the park, a trip to the city, an afternoon at the aquarium, and a day at the farm.

Family Time Unit 2 - Here, There, Everywhere

The new unit of Kindermusik Family Time will be available for our Fall 2006 semester. Watch the video to see a preview of some of the activities.

And, in case you haven't heard, children under the age of 6 months are FREE when accompanied by an older sibling. Yes, that's right! We are excited about this new unit - Here, There, Everywhere - and hope to see you and your family in class with us.

Hope through Singing

Each child in the Choir has a story. They have experienced more tragedy in their young lives than most of us will ever know in a lifetime. The children range in age from 7 to 11 years - many have lost one or both parents to poverty or disease. Yet, each child has a dream - a hope for tomorrow. They want to be teachers, doctors, musicians and pilots. These children are members of The African Children's Choir - hear them now.

The African Children’s Choir is coming to Southridge Reformed Church on Sunday, July 16. The choir will be leading both the 9:00am and 11:00am services. I'm sure you won't leave without a song of hope in your heart . . .

Grown-ups Benefit from Rhythm, too

Many of our Kindermusik units focus on drumming - we tell stories with drums, try different rhythms with drums, converse with drums, make drums, dance to drum sounds. But, drumming isn't just for kids. Grown-ups can use drums - even at work.

Click here to see how you can use rhythm and drumming to help your company and employees through team building exercises.

Happy Birthday USA

Music and lyrics by George M. Cohan

Simple Version

You're a grand old flag,
You're a high flying flag
And forever in peace may you wave.
You're the emblem of
The land I love.
The home of the free and the brave.
Ev'ry heart beats true'
neath the Red, White and Blue,
Where there's never a boast or brag.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
Keep your eye on the grand old flag.
